01

Physical Therapy

At Complex, you can expect one-on-one physical therapy services where we offer personalized care tailored towards your specific needs. Our approach caters to enhancing movement and overall well-being. Our team uses a variety of objective measures for testing including Vald Dynamo and Force Decks, video gait analysis, and movement screening during assessment to identify specific areas of dysfunction, which allow for your therapist to create the most optimal plan of care for you.

In post-operative rehabilitation, the focus is on optimizing recovery and restoring function through a combination of manual techniques, therapeutic exercises, and modalities. We also offer dry needling to help expedite your return to full function. Dry needling uses thin, non medicated needles to improve the function of specific muscles, tendons and ligaments by increasing blood flow and circulation, reducing tension and releasing chemicals in our body through a localized inflammatory response to the needles which initiate and expedite the body’s natural healing response. Patients typically experience 1-2 days of soreness and then experience decreased pain and improved function overall.  As you progress, your therapist guides you through a structured program, emphasizing injury prevention strategies and performance enhancement. This one-on-one approach allows for a collaborative relationship between the therapist and the individual, ensuring a tailored and effective rehabilitation journey.

Personal Training

At Complex, we are committed to providing one-on-one personal training services to allow for a truly individualized experience. Our principles and techniques are tailored to optimize performance and specifically target each individual to reach their own, unique fitness goals.

During the evaluation, you will be taken through a full-body video assessment. This assessment serves as a foundational tool, offering an in-depth analysis of your movement patterns and allowing your trainer to discern areas for improvement with precision. This allows for a specific, goal-oriented program to be built. Each session is strategically designed to address your objectives, ensuring a specific and effective fitness program.

Our methodology is a data-driven approach which utilizes metrics and progress tracking as important components of your training experience. This not only helps to refine the training strategies, but also serves as a tool to guarantee optimal results. Our commitment to a data-driven approach is beneficial to individuals at any level of training experience, catering to beginners, professional athletes, and everyone in between.

To achieve a well-rounded enhancement of overall fitness and health, our trainers integrate a carefully curated mix of exercises. This blend ensures a holistic approach that addresses various aspects of physical well-being, promoting not only strength but also flexibility, cardiovascular health, and endurance.

The advantage of the one-on-one sessions is evident in the constant guidance, motivation, and feedback provided by your trainer throughout each session. This creates a dynamic and supportive environment, allowing an atmosphere where you feel both challenged and supported on your fitness journey.

Recovery

At Complex, we recognize the significance of dedicating time for our bodies to recover, acknowledging that this aspect is essential for unlocking our full training potential while reducing the risk of injuries. This awareness drives our commitment to incorporating recovery sessions into our services offered.

Within these recovery sessions, we use a variety of techniques curated to address the specific needs of our clients. Manual therapy, a hands-on approach, forms an integral part of our recovery sessions. This technique is specifically tailored to alleviate muscle tension, leading to optimal recovery. In addition, we use cupping and scraping methods, which are beneficial for promoting blood circulation, releasing fascial restrictions, and contributing to an overall sense of muscular well-being.

In addition to manual techniques, our recovery sessions incorporate stretching and mobility exercises, which aim to enhance flexibility, alleviate muscle tightness, and improve joint control. These elements are essential not only for immediate relief but also for the long-term optimization of athletic performance, reducing the likelihood of injuries in the process.

Our recovery services are created to compliment whatever training and physical activity you participate in throughout your day to day. By addressing various facets of recovery, we seek to optimize overall physical performance, ensuring that our clients not only bounce back from strenuous activities but also excel in their ongoing pursuit of fitness and well-being.

“I have been training with Sebastian now for some time and have been able to take my athleticism to new limits; especially focusing on strength with no compromise on form. He is not your average trainer; Sebastian has the knowledge and capabilities to train you whether your goals are to be a top athlete, rehabilitate you to get you back into exercising, or to get your body looking fit. Wish I had been training with him since I started working out 15 years ago.”

Manny Enriquez
"I have absolutely loved my experience at Complex. I came in with an injury and was not only treated but helped strengthen the muscles that were causing it. They really took time to evaluate, understand what was causing the pain and make sure I’m not only pain free but stronger and doing my workouts in correct form. The guys and Amelia are awesome. They have such positive, uplifting attitudes. It raises my spirit just being there. Thanks Complex!"
Rayza Perez
"I initially arrived at Complex through a friend’s referral. I had some injury and felt limited in my mobility during workouts, and was told they could help me. I came in for an assessment with Sebastian, and it was VERY thorough! He identified my weak areas, and how they were affecting me in other parts of my body. He led me through some stretches and exercises, and the best part is that he also texted me a link to them later, plus so many more, with pictures, to remind me what to do at home. The whole thing took approx 2 hours, like I said, very thorough! I’ve since returned for training and therapy, and I have even brought my husband in too.I really enjoy working with Sebastian, and I have to add, the whole Complex team! Everyone is very friendly and welcoming from the moment you enter, and you definitely feel the family vibe they have going on."
